The first in a series of speaking engagements sponsored by the Los Angeles Metro National Women's Political Caucus - Education Fund, League of Women Voters of Los Angeles, Mount Saint Mary's College, the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Latina Business Women's Association, the Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Latina Lawyers Bar Association, and Hispanics Organized for Political Equality (HOPE). Featuring: Michele Ruiz as Mistress of Ceremonies Speakers: Dr. Damary Bonilla-Rodriguez, Girls Inc., and Susan Estrich, Robert Kingsley Professor of Law and Political Science, University of Southern California Reception Immediately following - Speakers Wendy Gruel, City Controller, and Jan Perry, Councilmember, City of Los Angeles, 9th District Ticket information: $25 for LWVLA Members; $35 general; $10 students. Registration is free to Mount Saint Mary's College students, but DO register. RSVP by calling the League office at 213-368-1616. On-line registration available: League Member Registration ($25) and Non-Members ($35) & Students Admissions ($10) PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: At guard shack, tell them you are there for an event at the Rose Hill Auditorium. You may park on the street or the parking Pavilion and then walk to the Ahmanson Weingart Hall where the Rose Hills Auditorium is located. (You can also turn and park in the AAA lot before the guard shack.)
